We’re looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting our customers with technical challenges and delivering outstanding service. Whether it’s resolving issues remotely, providing onsite assistance, or guiding users through their tech troubles, you’ll be the first point of contact and the person they trust to get things sorted. What you’ll be doing as a Desktop Support Engineer:
- Provide technical support both remotely and onsite
- Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT issues
- Monitor and manage customer services proactively
- Communicate clearly and confidently with customers and colleagues
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles to improve team efficiency
- Support helpdesk operations and contribute to continuous improvement
- Collaborate with clients to understand and meet their needs
- Recommend improvements to IT services and onboarding processes
- Stay sharp by learning new skills and earning industry certifications
What you’ll bring:
- 1+ year in a technical helpdesk or first-line support role
- Experience with Windows 7 & 10, Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint
- Active Directory management, hardware support, and mobile device support (iOS/Android)
- Basic networking and printer support skills
- Bonus points for experience with Windows Server features, Mac OS, and AV equipment

Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs (A–C) including English, Maths & Science
- HND or equivalent IT qualification
- MCSA/MCSE and ITIL certifications (desirable)
