Lead the Way as a Connectivity and Unified Communications Product and
Proposition Lead!
Intercity Technology is looking for a highly skilled and
motivated Connectivity and Unified Communications Product and
Proposition Lead to support in developing and marketing connectivity
and unified communications propositions. This role involves working alongside
commercial teams to maximise the value of the propositions and deliver products
and services to the UK SME marketplace.
Key Responsibilities as a Connectivity and Unified Communications
Product and Proposition Lead:
- Collaborate
with sales specialists, commercial, and technical solution teams: Understand
customer needs and build compelling propositions.
- Stay
on top of market trends: Perform analysis to inform product
strategies.
- Assist
sales teams in achieving targets: Provide input to major bid
responses.
- Manage
the product lifecycle: From inception to decommissioning.
- Conduct
market research: Gather customer insights and define business cases.
- Plan
the development, marketing, and delivery of products: Measure success
and coordinate decommissioning.
- Work
with colleagues across the business: Ensure effective delivery and
roll-out of new products.
- Incorporate
customer and colleague feedback: Into product planning.
- Identify
and develop compelling service value propositions: Using our products
and solutions.
- Occasionally
travel and stay overnight: As required, maintaining a work/life
balance.
Key skills and Experience for a Connectivity and Unified Communications
Product and Proposition Lead:
Education and Qualifications:
- 4
years' experience in a product manager role is essential.
- Detailed
knowledge of the UK business telecommunications and connectivity markets.
Experience and Knowledge:
- Experience
managing vendors, understanding their product sets and how to get the most
out of partnership.
- Understanding
of marketing and experience working with marketing teams for product
launches.
- Working
with commercial businesses, public sector (central & local government,
NHS, police) and third-sector organisations.
- Deep
technical knowledge of business connectivity solutions (e.g., SD-WAN,
leased lines, VoIP).
- Strategic
business acumen for managing product roadmaps and financial forecasting.
- Customer-centric
approach to developing compelling propositions.
- Experience
in managing product lifecycles, working with cross-functional teams, and
leading go-to-market strategies.
- Ability
to analyse market trends and customer needs to drive product innovation.
- Strong
leadership and stakeholder management skills.
