Elevate Your Career as a Microsoft Sales Specialist!
Intercity Technology is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Microsoft Sales Specialist to join our dynamic sales team. As a Microsoft Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Microsoft products and solutions to SME businesses and Enterprise clients. Your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth, establish strong customer relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Drive the sales process from prospecting to deal closure by identifying business opportunities, engaging with potential customers, and presenting Microsoft's portfolio of products and solutions. Deliver consistent and on-plan revenue through skilled pipeline management whilst maintaining an active 30-60-90-day sales pipeline.
- Product Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft's complete suite of products, including Microsoft Modern Workplace, Microsoft Security and Compliance, Azure, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and articulate the value propositions to potential clients.
- Consultative Selling: Understand customer needs and pain points to offer tailored solutions that align with their business requirements. Provide expert advice and guidance to customers, showcasing how Microsoft technologies can address their specific challenges.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, IT decision-makers, and procurement teams. Cultivate long-term partnerships and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other divisional specialists, sales team members, pre-sales engineers, marketing, and Microsoft's partner ecosystem to develop joint strategies and execute successful sales campaigns.
Education and Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 fundamentals.
- Microsoft technical expertise would be beneficial.
Experience and Knowledge:
- At least two years’ experience within a similar sales environment.
- Demonstrable experience of managing a complete sales cycle from opportunity creation to completing a sale within the B2B environment and presenting to senior management and directors.
- Knowledge of Microsoft licensing and agreements, Microsoft cloud transformation and adoption projects, and basic knowledge of alternative Microsoft solutions.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
Competencies and Skills:
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities.
