As a Product Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our Managed IT and Managed Services offerings. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers to drive product excellence from inception to decommissioning. Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Solutions: Develop repeatable solutions that align with business requirements. Leverage existing product strategy components while adhering to internal operational and support guidelines.
- Partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with 3rd party integrators and Channel Partners. Collaborate to tailor solutions from our comprehensive range of Intercity products and services.
- Consultative Approach: When crafting new propositions, consider both technical requirements and broader market needs. Your insights will uncover solution opportunities across our entire ITL product portfolio.
- Budget-Friendly Solutions: Ensure that proposed Managed IT / Managed Network solutions align positively with customer budgets.
- Effective Communication: Present proposals at all levels—whether it’s the Board, managers, or end-users. Your well-compiled customer documentation will be the key to securing approvals.
- Cost Analysis: Collaborate cross-functionally to provide accurate costings for Managed IT / Managed Network solutions. Help build compelling internal business cases.
- Strategic Direction: Work closely with the Managed Services MD to define the strategic direction of our Managed IT / Managed Network Services products.
- Microsoft Product Leadership: Take the lead in managing our Microsoft-based product offerings. Stay ahead of industry trends and drive product excellence.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Maintain the Managed IT and Managed Network Services product roadmap. Coordinate product launches and enhancements.
- Collaboration with Development Teams: Partner with our development and engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge Managed IT and Managed Service features.
- Standout Collateral: Collaborate with Marketing to create product collateral that stands out in a competitive market.
What we're looking for:
Essential:
- 4 Years of Customer-Facing Experience: You’ve honed your skills in product management within the Managed IT / Managed Services domain. Your ability to understand customer needs sets you apart.
- In-Depth Knowledge: You’re well-versed in both Intercity and direct competitor products and services. Your understanding of supporting infrastructure and technologies is second to none.
- System Integrator or Service Provider Background: Ideally, you’ve worked in a similar role. Your experience collaborating with vendors and optimizing their product offerings is invaluable.
- Managed Services Expertise: You’re no stranger to NOC, Managed Infrastructure, and Managed Security. These areas are your playground.
- Marketing Savvy: You’ve partnered with marketing teams for successful product launches. Understanding market dynamics and customer insights is part of your toolkit.
- Versatility: Whether it’s commercial businesses, public sector organizations, or third-sector entities, you adapt seamlessly to diverse environments.
Skills and Desirables:
- Cutting-Edge Tech Know-How: Stay ahead of the curve with the latest in Desktop, Server, Network, and Security technologies.
- NOC/SOC Mastery: You’re well-versed in network and security operations. Think monitoring, infrastructure management, and ITIL processes (Change, Release, Problem).
- Data Connectivity: Your knowledge extends to data connectivity technologies. You understand the backbone of digital communication.
- Cloud Insights: While not essential, familiarity with Data Centre hosting, Azure, AWS, and Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure is a plus.
- Architectural Vision: You’ve built end-to-end solutions. Enterprise architecture is your canvas.
- Product Lifecycle Wizardry: From inception to decommissioning, you know how to manage product lifecycles effectively.
